Coffee Agronomy: Training, Inputs & Farm Visits

Kula provides coffee agronomy training and inputs through a regenerative and sustainable approach, with the goal of increasing the size, productivity, and health of their coffee farms. Through a combination of group training and one-on-one farm visits, this curriculum provides training and inputs geared toward not only increasing production, but also to ensure that the health and longevity of the land is protected, that materials are accessible by farmers beyond the end of the Fellowship, and that climate change impacts are anticipated and mitigated.

While we are always working to research, innovate and find the most relevant, cost-effective, and impactful inputs possible, our current input package includes:

  • Pruning shears and saws

  • Biochar kilns

  • Coffee and agroforestry tree seedlings

  • Livestock
