Waste Management
When unmanaged, weeds and waste can pull water and nutrients from coffee trees, attract pests, and foster diseases, ultimately making harvesting more difficult. Through the Fellowship’s training on waste management and composting, Fellows are able to better identify and take action against harmful waste, and use composting techniques to turn biodegradable waste into powerful fertilizer.
