Partnership Spotlight: Together Women Rise

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Together Women Rise as one of their 2024 Featured Grantees! 

Together Women Rise is a powerful community of women and allies dedicated to global gender equality. It has hundreds of local chapters across the U.S. where members come together to learn about and advocate for gender equality issues, give grants to organizations that empower women and girls in low-income countries in the Global South, and build community to forge meaningful connections with each other and with women around the world.

Over the next two years, their support will allow us to further our work of developing women entrepreneurs in Rwanda’s coffee communities, increasing and diversifying their income and improving the gender equity and decision-making capacity within their homes and communities. We will accomplish this through the Kula Fellowship, our poverty graduation model joining agricultural support, income diversification, and business coaching to elevate female farmers and their families out of extreme poverty. 

We firmly believe that when women, who have been historically and systematically disempowered, have the opportunity to earn income and access finance, gain strategic knowledge and skills, and have the right to make decisions for themselves and their families, more equitable and sustainable livelihood improvements are developed -- creating generational change. We are so honored to partner with an organization like Together Women Rise who holds that same mission and belief.
